The line
Laalima — the glow of a live coal — is maroon georgette edged entirely in scalloped floral cutwork: neckline, sleeves, hem and dupatta all close with the same jewelled border language. Maroon sells in every market we serve from October through March, and the all-over border treatment gives this version a ceremony weight that plain maroon lacks.
